Those who gave us the Bible we are reading through inspiration didn’t give it for sale, they paid with their blood to deliver the good news, the man who interpreted the Bible into the English version was burned at the stake.
Almost all the apostles were martyred for the sake of the gospel, the only good that this generation saw in it is how to turn it into money-making business.
They are after the money and fame that gospel can bring to them not the souls that will be won for Christ.
Our greed has become a stumbling block to the way of saving souls in the kingdom.
Ministers have turned the church that is supposed to be a house of prayer into a den of thieves, some pastors will stand at the front of the congregation looking at those who brought offerings, if one of their members is lacking and unable to donate, the man of God won’t answer their greeting after the service.
They curse those who don’t pay tithe but refuse to place a curse on the wicked who refuse to repent as long as they’re bringing offerings and tithes they are blessed.
These kinds of churches can’t claim to be under the authority of Christ for it’s another power that dictates.
If money is in control there won’t be a place for the word of God to be in charge.
Mammon that is in charge of the world affairs has subtly crept into the church of God through the back door, thanks to our greed that invited it to our midst.
No matter the level of your anointing if you don’t have money, the anointing becomes irrelevant to the church according to the carnal judgment of our leaders.
A man who was sponsored by a rich man to establish his own church got his sister impregnated by the same rich man, he couldn’t speak so as not to remove the kingdom’s sponsors, and he kept his mouth shut for money to continue speaking.
Those who laid the foundations of their church on money-making will regret this later in life, it’s only on the solid rock of Christ that a church can be established without having issues.
You need to search your mind before it’s too late if you’re building on the foundation of Mammon or is the Lord that is in control.
If a poor man came to see you and the rich man followed, would you first attend to the rich man because of his money or would you see them according to how they came?
Jesus Christ is our example, he didn’t leave the poor and attend to Herod in the palace like many of our ministers do today for fat envelopes.
If Christ should come and walk through the earth now, would he see a difference between the church and society?
As money speaks for politicians so also he speaks for ministers in the house of God.
Most ministers flaunt their worldly achievements on the altar, they announce their new jets and Ferraris, the cost of their attire, what is that for? Is it to the glory of God or to their shame?
If you follow a man who is after money, very soon you will abandon the purpose of your calling and follow the trends, know that anointing is contagious.
You need to know now who your master is, if Jesus is not at the center of your worship, definitely money is in charge.
When money becomes your motive, you will start investing your church proceeds in building an empire for yourself, instead of attending to the poor, the main reason God put you in charge of that money.
This is what led many pastors to become businessmen and invest in building universities and businesses here and there all over the world.
They acquired the money in the name of Christ and started to diversify it for their greedy purpose.
Jesus Christ called the apostles to leave their fish business to become the fishers of men, but now it’s the opposite.
When we don’t have money to establish a business for ourselves, we start by using the name of Christ and the gospel as a means to a particular end.
That is the secret longing of the hearts all this time and the hidden motives for starting ministry.
The presence of Christ has left many leaders without them knowing it, the anointing is no more there for their focus has shifted from God to Mammon.
That is why you need to ask yourself if you’re moving forward or backward, no wonder you can’t preach the raw message again, it’s now diluted messages you are dishing out since the day the anointing of the holy spirit has departed, and Satan has taken over, what else do you profit after gaining the whole world and lose your own soul?
Jesus that some churches are preaching now is not the Jesus Christ of Calvary, Jesus that dole out money without you walking in holiness, it is not the Jesus Christ that is set for the fall and for the rising of many in Israel nor the Christ that is for a sign which shall be spoken against.
The sword pierced the heart of the mother also that the thoughts of men would be revealed.
Your hidden thoughts shall be revealed also and your motives shall be judged by the fire in His presence.
To pull down the stronghold of Mammon, you must start building your treasure in heaven, wherever your treasure is, that is where your heart will also be.
