John 15:4 ( Abide in me, and I in you. As a branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine, no more can ye, except ye abide in me)
Some are not connected to the source and want to speak as his oracle; where will they get the message if they aren’t linked to the river of living water?
It’s the nourishment we gain from the vine that energises believers to speak as the representatives of the Almighty.
Most of us started well but couldn’t end up well because we have detached from the source and end up becoming cast out.
We are not connected to the word to know the mind of God, yet we still go about with the mantle of apostleship, which is the origin of the messages emanating from the flesh.
Those who are connected to the vine are connected to the word of God, meditating in it day and night. How do you compare them with those who open their bible only on Sundays?
Some even make the Internet their source, they browse the Internet to deliver a stale meal on the table for their congregation, they avoid the leading of the holy spirit, because they are not of his.
How will they understand and know the way of God if they are not living in his presence? They can only know his acts, but not his way, those who aspire to know his way won’t depart from his presence.
They learned daily in his presence ready to give whatever they learned to the advantage of others, so that both can reach the measurements of the stature of Christ.
No nation changed their gods from the beginning of ages, they only change names that will suit each generation, Jesus is plucking seed from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and attaching it to himself, to detach them from the way of Adam.
It will be unfortunate for Christians to change their God to things that is not god, but that is what they do when they’re disconnected from the true vine, and abandon the fountain of living waters to make a broken cistern for themselves.
God purges the branch that bears fruit, so they can produce more, purging is necessary for a tree to produce in multitude, pruning the works of the flesh, unnecessary attachments that prevent the tree from bringing fruit, the rudiment of the world that doesn’t have eternal value, but leaves the fruit of the spirit and the fruit of good works that men will see and glorify God.
That is why we need to always stay in his presence by reading and meditating in his word so that our way will prosper while doing his work diligently.
Those who get out of his presence by abandoning his word, relying on their own understanding are the ministers who look for guest speakers to fill the vacuum in their church, if they lack the enablement to lead, why do they gather followers? They forsake his presence to seek the mundane things of the world which distract their souls from seeking God.
Attachments to the vine are what give privileges to be washed clean by the pure water of the souls, our minds renewed every day by meditating on his word, so we can grow to reach his stature and bring others up with us.
The more we read and meditate and ruminate over his word is the more we are purified to stand in his presence.
The Bible says” Who, among us shall dwell with everlasting burning? And who among us can dwell with devouring fire? It’s the fire that can live with fire that won’t be burnt, and we become fire by always living in his presence, which no flies and cockroaches of the world can perch.
If you rely on the Internet to deliver your message, it’s better now to relieve yourself of the trouble and go back to the source to learn from his presence till you’re engulfed in his fire and won’t be consumed.
Moses dwelt in his presence and men were not able to behold his face for the glory of God that was manifesting through him, nothing can stop a child of God who is dwelling in his presence from bringing fruit, his belly has become a source of living water flowing to eternal life.
You can’t be useful to him by bringing fruits and let the enemies pluck you out of the vine, the earth is sustained by his word also the life of man, as you continue dwelling in his word, your life is secure in him for his word is the life of man, without him all are dead on arrival.
How many people have you preached to that have converted through you, or how many souls know God through your actions? This is also the fruit you must bear; the condition of prayers answered is attached to this fruit, if they stay, God will also answer whatever you requested from him.
If the word of God has no place in your life how will you use it to convince others? It first works in your heart before it reaches others, those who preach through the head and not from the heart will also see the fruit in their convert.
Their product will be like them and won’t be of benefit to the kingdom of God.
That is why you’ll see in a congregation despite pure teaching they received from their leader, their actions speak otherwise, it’s from the top, if the top isn’t attached to the vine, there won’t be a flow from it to the congregation.
Healing and life flow from the top to the bottom, so also decadence, if the top isn’t connected to Christ as the head, it will only be the product of the flesh, from the fallen Adam which will result in death in the end.
