John 6:37,39 ( All the Father give me shall come to me I will in no wise cast out. 39 And this is the Father’s will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me, I should lose nothing, but should raise him on the last day)
The doctrine of once saved, always saved is correct to some extent; whoever fell by the wayside hadn’t experienced salvation in the first place.
Jesus Christ knows Judas; he also knows Thomas and Peter; nothing is hidden from Him.
Jesus says, whoever my Father draws to me, I will in no wise cast out, and nothing shall by any means pluck them out of my hand.
This is the assurance of our salvation in Christ that our souls are secure in His hands.
Most Christians are yet to experience the salvation the bible is talking about; what will you say about those who argue on what to believe or what not in the bible? Will you say they are saved, and their redemption is perfect?
Those who remove what they don’t like from the word to add their own, are they truly believe in the one that was sent by God to the extent of obeying all and following all His commandments.
Many people are called, but few are chosen; the chosen ones are the saved, not the ones called.
They’re the ones that’ll endure to the end despite the persecution and trials.
They passed through rigorous training under the tutelage of the holy spirit and came out unscathed.
They didn’t love themselves nor care so much for their body but held their souls in high esteem so that the prince of the world wouldn’t have anything against them.
They submit totally under the authority of their teachers, they’re ready to learn from Him.
Jesus knows everyone who professes to his name, he knows the betrayal and knows the unbelievers, he also knows the one who can deny Him in the face of persecution, but is ready to hold them with his right hand so that no one will snatch them from his hand, but a child of perdition will surely perish.
Many couldn’t get to the cross to have their sin forgiven; they couldn’t pass the rigorous training of God that’ll lead them to Calvary, and they fell before getting to Jesus to receive cleansing.
Even if a name is written in the Book of Life, it can be deleted. God wrote it there to show His faithfulness, that he is ready to take you to your desired destination, but to maintain it there depends on your relationship with God.
Is it a Christian who is not ready to learn but argues about paying tithes that will be ready to surrender all to Him? Is it someone who can’t trust God for his finances who will trust Him with his soul?
Or is it a Christian who still argues on worldly dressing and is not ready to change even by listening to the best teacher who’s called saved?
Salvation is believing in Christ and turning back from sin to face Calvary, the place of cleansing.
Many start well but don’t finish well because of the distraction from the enemy’s side, lured by satanic advertisements of his wares and carried away by it.
Even though the shepherd is calling, they aren’t ready to listen to His call and enter into perdition.
Most Christians only bear names with Christ, but their name is yet to enter the Book of Life, while they proclaim that they are saved by grace.
When the Lord’s grace is released from the Cross, it’s preparing Christians to make their way right with God and not continue in what they have repented of.
God passed us through fire experience to detect what is hiding in the hearts and the motives of following Him.
For many follow for one thing or the other but never committed to His teaching, will you say all these are saved?
Demas was following apostle Paul but was finally led away by worldly entanglement. This was the hidden motive behind his commitment, and when he found it, he departed from the grace.
It’s the faith that saved us and will grow us to reach the level of Christ’s stature; if this kind of faith is not found in you, you will surely backslide on the way.
There are many unsaved Christians, and that is why they backslide and go to hell; it’s only God who can discern in that area.
Have you gone through training with His Father that’ll lead you to His presence at Calvary?
If you think of taking a shortcut that will lead you there, you are not saved; the Cross is where salvation takes place and justification is received, and judgment is canceled when the accuser is silent forever.
If you’re the kind of person who puts his hand on a plow to look back, you’re not fit for the kingdom of God.
If you’re still attracted to the pleasure of sin and wish you were there, you’ll still turn back and follow them at the slightest opportunity.
Will you call those who give God an ultimatum for their request Christians?
God is looking for those who will say, if I die, I die, I will follow Him, the Christian who will say, even though he kills me, I won’t stop praising Him.
Many Christians are still in Egypt looking at the Red Sea in front of them, contemplating how to cross River Jordans; after long thought, they preferred to put one leg in Egypt and the other in the Red Sea. Will you say they are saved by faith when faith is never in their dictionary?
The Bible says, “whoever endure to the end shall be saved”
