John 17: 22 ( And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them, that they may be one even as we are one)
The glory of the kingdom is different from the glory of the world which all the people of the world are running after, the glory of the world belongs to the devil, and he gives whoever bows down at his feet.
What the natural man seeks as glory is not glory; this is what the Bible says. It is a foolish thing to seek glory for oneself. God is the glory of man, and we are short of it since we have abandoned Him to seek the things of the world.
Satan came to tempt the lord as he tempted our first parents who lost God’s glory as their covering and became naked.
He also came to Jesus to substitute his eternal glory for the glory of the world, but must first pay obeisance to him in return as a sign of agreement, that he had surrendered to him.
That is how he is doing to whoever seeks earthly glory without seeking the glory that comes from the father which can only be obtained at the feet of the lord Jesus Christ.
Unfortunately, most Christians are after the glory of the world more than the glory of God, they want fame and wealth accompanied by it which is ephemeral and fleeting.
That is why they rush themselves into God’s work, they answer when God didn’t call, so they can be reckoned with in the spiritual world, and become the high and mighty of society.
Materialism doesn’t determine glory, your wealth is not glory, it’s a talent released unto you to secure the profits of souls into God’s kingdom, which you diverted to acquire ephemeral things that’ll perish and stand against you in judgment.
Satan used this offer for any one that want to discover his purpose in the kingdom of God, they thought by working for God for the benefit is what gives you relevance in the society, this is an error from the pit of hell that makes men works for God to seek the accolade attached without seeking for position in his kingdom or have your name written in the book of life.
They want demons to bow for them at the mention of Jesus’ name but not seeking their names to appear in his book which is paramount to our existence.
I have never seen where someone wrote an application for the post of prophet in the Bible, they were called by God and needed to persuade them into doing his works, they rejected it at first because of the responsibility involved, none of them wanted to yoke with the Lord.
But it’s the opposite these days where we fight to acknowledge as a man of God even if we aren’t living in his will.
After some of the prophets were reappointed by God they were rejected by men and most of them were stoned to death but the glory of their ministry surpassed them.
God created humanity for his glory and his glory alone must manifest to fulfil the purpose for which we are created.
As we reflect on his image, his glory manifests in us to show that we belong to him and are the representatives of God in the world.
Whosoever desire the world’s glory has given Satan leverage over his soul because of the covenant involved that’ll stand against him on the day of judgment, you can bow to the devil and use whatever power you get to propagate the gospel, but it’s only the message Satan put in your mouth that you’ll deliver.
Glory of the world comes with a price and there is interest to pay for collecting things from the devil, your souls and the souls of your generation to come which Satan will remind them after you have left the world.
The glory of a Christian is in God, as we are created for his glory, we are are also redeem for the manifestation of his glory to show the world that we came from God, this is what Jesus Christ came to manifest to show us the way to the Father, glory of a Christian can not lost, no one can sit on their glory, they replicate Christ and need to manifest him, the more nearer they are to him the more his reflection manifest in them and the more people see them that they have been with Christ.
Many thinks is by acquisition of properties and building empire that showcase the Lord’s glory, all these fades, even your popularity fades because another person will come after you who is greater in these things more than you do and you and your glory become things of the past, its only who manifest the lord’s glory that reign with him for eternity as Jesus never fade they wont fade even if after leaving the world, their works still speak after their demise.
They might not be known in this earthly realm but in the kingdom of God, they’re well-known, and are also acknowledged in the kingdom of darkness, their names are identified with Christ who becomes the troubler of the demonic kingdom.
There are champions like that in the realm of God whose names become terror in the kingdom of darkness for their assignment is rooted in the name of Jesus Christ, the Lord of hosts that sits among the cherubim.
As the kingdom of the devil has an end, so also his glory, he is ready to give whoever worships him in this life, who will end up in hell as all his glory ends together with him there.
If you become a partakers of the lord’s suffering here on earth, you shall also be a partakers of his glory which shall be revealed in us, as the earnest expectation of the creation waits for the manifestation of the sons of God.
The world’s glory is what men of God are after this time around they’re not different from the world who glory in their shame, whose God is their belly.
