Matthew 5:25,26 ( Agree with your adversary quickly whiles thou art in the way with him: lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison. Verily I say unto thee, thou shalt by no means come out thence, till thou art paid the uttermost farthing)
There are things in most Christians’ lives that the adversary is using against them in judgment, he is accusing them one way or the other, and he is the instrument in the hand of God to bring the children of salvation to their place of destiny fulfillment.
Many of us are not ready to agree with what the adversary is telling us, he may try getting to us through friends who correct us, and may get to us through the person we hate so that he will use it to abuse us, all works together to bring us to mend our way and reconcile to God.
He may get to us by inflicting us with sickness that defies solutions or poverty extreme to the extent that we’ll need divine guidance to come out, all these in the name of accusation of the adversary.
There was a man I helped out of poverty with my little ability, but God restrained me, by making me bear the curse while the person was being blessed.
Then I asked God why me, and he told me that the man was empty financially and lacked virtues. It was the blessing that was supposed to be mine that was transferred to him. Everything remained at a standstill for me until I asked for mercy, and before I knew it, God restored me.
Some people are under God’s wrath because of rebellion, if you try to help them, you prove that you know more than God, and God won’t allow you to insult him.
There are Christians inside Satan’s prison, because of rebellion, waiting for the time they will repent and come out but if they refuse, the judgment is set and they will be cast into the perpetual prison of hell.
Some still practice sin secretly, they are still operating under divine curse, they think it’s man that curses them when they refuse to see inwardly that their enemy is operating from within.
Instead of some believers receiving the favour of God, it’s the other side of God they are experiencing, you know the Bible says, God is angry with sinners every day, whoever sins is a child of the devil, Pastor or Reverend.
If God won’t show them favour, who are you to show them, are you more righteous than God or are you holier than him?
God permits some things to happen in a Christian’s life so that they can see and reconcile with Him, but instead of seeking divine favour, they seek it from man, and God turns the punishment around.
Who will lose what God bound, and who will open the gate that he has shut?
Even Satan in his craftiness won’t do that unless he wants to deceive them to increase their load of punishment.
It’s not that he won’t do, he can’t do it for he himself is operating under the wrath of God waiting for the day the cup of iniquity will be full and be cast into the lake of fire.
There is no smoke without a fire, many who are trying to help who God has placed in bondage have fallen into trouble themselves, so they aren’t able to come out.
This is the work of the adversary who is there to execute judgment over the disobedience of men.
If not for the adversary that pushed many Christians to their place of destiny fulfillment, they would have stayed mediocre for life till their time passed.
Adversary might not know but it’s in the divine will to turn the devices of the enemy against them, so they won’t be able to fulfil their enterprise.
That is why Jesus says, ” You should agree with them while still on the way with him, lest he report you and hand you over to be punished.
What is that hidden sin in your life, which you’re trying to hide but the smoke is coming out?
God wants to cleanse us and bring us to perfection under the blood of Jesus Christ but we won’t let him.
No little jot or an iota of his law will go unfulfilled, who told you that grace permits you to sin?
Some Christians are so rebellious that they placed holiness under the law, even holiness and the righteousness of God have become the law that Christ came to eradicate for them.
They place their standards below God’s own to fit into their fallen nature, they want God to come down to the level of their standards, he had done that before, he became man to restore us to himself, that is his standard which everyone must attain to reach the level of sonship.
Jesus himself says that he didn’t come to destroy the law but to fulfil it, if Jesus came and fulfilled all righteousness to the extent that he was baptised by John, who are you not to fulfil all the righteousness commanded by God?
If you tell them what God wants from Christians, they will reply that they are no longer under the law, they are under grace. Is it the grace that permits you to change your colour by bleaching it? Or is it the grace that makes you change you hairs colour?
Or is it the grace that tells you to advertise marine properties in the church by painting your face like Jezebel to cover the glory of God and your originality?
Is it the grace of God that asked you to put on what belongs to men or commit abomination in the temple by committing immorality with brethren?
The dressings and hairstyles they used to glorify idols before are now introduced to the church to glorify God.
I don’t see where it is written in the Bible that grace came to destroy the law, when the one who represents the dispensation of grace says otherwise.
Just because many Christians want to belong they become candidates of hell, it’s when they fall into the hands of their adversary, and that one hand them over to the officers, and the one later casts them inside prison they will know that they have been rebellious all these whiles.
Every constructive or destructive criticism is to bring us to our senses to amend our ways before it’s too late….to be continued
