Genesis 1:4 ( And God saw the light that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness)
2 Corinthians 6:17 ( wherefore come out from among them, and being ye separated, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean things; and I will receive you)
Final separation is coming when the lord will come with his fan in his hands, when he will thoroughly purge his floor and gather his wheat into his garner and burn the chaff with unquenchable fire.
Separation began at the creation of the world, when light mixed with darkness, God separated light from darkness so that He could begin His works.
Without the light having preeminence, nothing would come into being. He spoke the light to be, and light penetrated the darkness that was looming over the face of the earth.
Man fell, and darkness took the earth again, the birth of Jesus is the manifestation of light in man’s life, which darkness was unable to comprehend.
Jesus Christ entered man’s life to bring the light of God back into humanity and started recreating and transforming man in his image and bring him to his likeness.
Without man separating himself from darkness through the power of grace given by the Holy Spirit, it’ll be difficult for him to experience the true life of God to the fullest.
Sin makes light and darkness cohabit when God created them separately, God separated light from darkness in the time of Noah, he separated them in Sodom, and still in the habit of separating them through the gospel of grace; Jesus says ‘ I know my sheep and my sheep know me, they hear my voice and the voice of strangers they won’t follow’.
The sheep of the lord knows the voice of their master, and the light attract light, sheep knows the voice of the shepherds, if darkness is still mingling with the light in you, there must be separation, remember there should be no relationship between light and darkness, the Bible says, you are the light of the world, and let your light shine before men that they will see your good works and glorify your father in heaven, but if the light in you become darkness, how great will the darkness be?
God wants you to separate your relationship with the people in darkness, if you don’t come out of them now, how will you be adopted into God’s family and become his son?
You can’t wait till Jesus comes to do the separation, it won’t be to your favour if he finds you incomplete, it will put you in the categories of those who reject his word and
will be among those whom he will also reject.
The call of God is for separation, separation from the world, separation from the filthy and the works of flesh, separation from whatever doesn’t give glory to the name of God that represents darkness and stain to your glorious garment.
Separate from anything ungodly, ungodly relationship, separate from past and sinful life, can two works together if they are not in agreement?
Show me your friend and I will show you your real identity that you are hiding, like attracts likes, if you’re always attracted to the negative side, there are things in you that are negative in nature and are looking for alignment.
If you are light, you will be attracted to light and agree with it to direct your path, the people in darkness don’t want to come to light so their works won’t be exposed by its illumination.
The evilness is hidden in darkness, a child of God with a changed heart has nothing to do with it but to come out and expose it.
Jesus is the only way to separation from the powers of darkness, religion won’t separate, you, neither will ritual performance, no idol will separate you, it’s not by power or by might, but by the spirit of God, daily alignment with the word of God brings light to where darkness is hiding and saves you from its torment.
A child of God who is still dancing away in a club had nothing to do with holiness, what is her business there? Maybe there is something in her that agrees with the darkness over there which she refuses to expose, mind you, a day is coming when God will bring everything hidden into light and men will see the real image of yours that wouldn’t align with divine purpose.
Before God could destroy a town or city in the Bible he would first send his angels to mark those who are righteous there, he separated them by his blood, when he saw blood on the lintel of the Israelites in Egypt, he forbade the angel of destruction from their domain, why not separate yourself from unbelievers who practice unrighteousness?
It’s only the blood of Jesus Christ that separates, the mark of separation, the mark of touch me not for I bear in my body the mark of Christ.
Whoever doesn’t have this mark in this generation doesn’t belong to Christ, and when he return its this mark that’ll become the seal of the covenant to those who serve him and walk perfectly in his way.
Are you in the process of separating yourself now before he comes to classify you among the tares, it’ll be so painful on that day, allow his blood to perform its ancient work so that you won’t come to judgment but from death to life, because no one comes to judgment and is justified in his presence.
God is so faithful that he won’t destroy the righteous with the unrighteous, if a single work of unrighteousness is found in you, you’ll become a candidate for destruction.
Nothing like 99.9% in the dictionary of the almighty, he is the perfection of men, without completely dwelling in him, we aren’t complete.
Prayer: Father Lord, make me complete in you and perfect all that concerns me, in Jesus name.
